MUST HAVE FULL P&L ACCOUNTABILITY AND EXCELLENT SALES/SALES MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE

You will be highly intelligent and naturally charismatic to be considered for this very senior role within this prestigious company. You will have held full p&l responsibility and have a proven track record of managing/motivating both internal and external sales staff as well as having excellent personal sales track record ideally within manufacturing/distribution. Experience managing a production, warehousing and distribution facility will also be highly desirable. In order to be considered for this role you should be currently operating in a senior management role, possibly with the title of Branch Manager, National Sales Manager, Commercial Director, Sales & Marketing Manager, Sales & Marketing Director, etc.

If you are successfully recruited for this challenging Branch Manager’s role, you will be involved in managing the day to day operations of the Branch. This will include driving and developing a top class sales team and putting together strong operational processes and systems. The Branch runs its own profit and loss centre, with the Branch manager taking responsibility for delivery of the business plan.

Our client is a leader in the distribution of thermoplastic sheets, rod and tubing. The company has built strong business relationships with fabricators, sign makers and signage companies alike. Specifically, their product range includes but is not limited to: Acrylic; Palsun; Polycarbonate; Palight Foam PVC; Sloan LED’s and Alupanel ACP.

As a Branch Manager, you will:

Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, administration, finance and sales.
Lead the commercial development of the business at P&L level.
Bring out the best in the branch team, providing structured coaching, development and motivation
Promote a philosophy of continuous improvement
Work collaboratively with other branches to share market opportunities and operational best practice
Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws, especially health & safety
Adapt and develop products in line with market expectation
Manage relationships with suppliers and customers

The successful candidate will be self-starting and able to evidence previous successful experience in a Branch Manager or similar role. You will be a dynamic, results driven individual who is adept at managing high volume activity and driving market growth to a range of industries. Experience managing a production, warehousing and distribution facility will also be highly desirable. You will have held full p&l responsibility and have a proven track record of managing/motivating both int/ext sales staff

You will be commercially driven with a high focus on customer satisfaction and proven financial management capabilities. Related product knowledge and appreciation of the route to market will be beneficial, but other backgrounds will also be considered. If this is the case, ideally it will be within the wider products/commodities sales environment.

A stable career history illustrating reliability and tenacity is important.
